Jam Rock n’ Roll – The Aftermath

April 6th, 2011 § Leave a Comment

Geelong Roller Derby League’s season opening bout was held last Sunday 3rd April – and what a smash fest it was.

It was a bouting debut for a handful of skaters – Natalie Bashingskate, Carmen Attcha and Ellen B Rage for the Atom Bombs, and Mish B Haven and Rhythm N Bruise taking the track for the first time for the Psychotics.

Despite the new comers, this was an epic battle of speed and strength from the get go.

They leapt to an early lead, however despite the determination of the Atom Bombs troupes – lead by team captain, Vyvian Oblivion, the relentless hard hits from the likes of Nitro Nutter for the Psychotics, the Atom Bombs were defeated 95, Psychotics 106.

The revenge rematch and Round 2 entitled Heads May Roll will be held on Sunday May 15th at Leisuretime, Bell Post Hill.

The battle for victory continues. BE THERE!
